AutoCAD/ AutoCAD LT 2012 Essentials: Part 1; 3 Days, 8:00AM to 4:00PM (21 Hours)
The objective of the AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2012 Fundamentals is to enable students to create basic 2D drawing in AutoCAD. Part 1 covers the essential core topics for working with AutoCAD. We start with a few basic tools that enable the student to create and edit simple drawings and then continue to develop those tools. More advanced tools are introduced throughout the course. Not every command or option is covered, because the intent is to show the most essential tools and concepts.
AutoCAD/ AutoCAD LT 2012 Essentials: Part 2; 2 Days, 8:00AM to 4:00PM (14 Hours)
The objective of the AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2012 Fundamentals is to enable students to create basic 2D drawing in AutoCAD. Part 2 continues with more sophisticated techniques that extend your mastery of the program. Here you will go beyond the basic skill of inserting a block to learning how to create blocks, and beyond the basic skills of using a template to understand the process of setting up a template.
AutoCAD 2012 Advanced: 3 Days, 8:00AM to 4:00PM (21 Hours)
AutoCAD 2012 Advanced introduces advanced techniques and teaches you to be proficient in your use of AutoCAD. This is done by teaching you how to recognize the best tools for the task, the best way to use that tool, and how to create new tools to accomplish tasks more efficiently.
Navisworks 2012 Essentials; 2 Days, 8:00AM to 4:00PM (14 Hours)
The objective of the Navisworks 2012 Fundamentals class is to introduce students to the main features and functionality of TimeLiner and Clash Detection. Students will learn how to open and append 3D files of different formats and save in a Navisworks format. You will create links to object properties files and scheduling files in external databases. You will continue with performing visual project model reviews using the built-in review and reporting tools as well as how to create construction simulations of a project model to check validity of construction schedules.
Navisworks Freedom 2012; ½ Day, 8:00AM to 12:00PM (4 Hours)
The objective of the Navisworks Freedom class is to introduce students to the basic navigating and mark-up tools available in the free viewer of Navisworks.
Revit Architecture 2012 Essentials; 4 Days, 8:00AM to 4PM (28 Hours)
The objective of the Revit Architecture 2012 Essentials is to enable students to create full 3D architectural project model and set them up in working drawings. Revit Architecture Essentials is designed to teach you the functionality as you would work with it in the design process. You begin by learning about the user interface and the Revit commands for design development followed by those available for construction documentation.
Revit MEP 2012 Essentials, 3 Days; 8:00AM to 4:00PM (21 Hours)
The objective of the Revit MEP 2012 Essentials is to teach the concepts and principles of creating 3D parametric models of MEP systems from engineering design through construction documentation. Students will be introduced to the user interface and basic HVAC, electrical and plumbing/piping components that make Revit MEP a powerful and flexible engineering modeling tool. Students will become familiarized with the tools necessary to create, document, and print the parametric model.
Revit Structure 2012 Essentials, 3 Days; 8:00AM to 4:00PM (21 Hours)
The objective of the Revit Structure 2012 Essentials is to teach the concepts and principles from building design through construction documentation. Students will be introduced to the user interface and the basic building components that make Revit Structure a powerful and flexible structural modeling tool. Students will be familiarized with the tools necessary to create, document, and print your parametric model.
Revit 2012 Collaboration Tools, 1 Day; 8:00Am to 4:00PM (7 Hours)
The objective of the Revit 2012 Collaboration Tools is to enable students who have basic knowledge of Revit, to increase their productivity while working with other people on a team, either in the same firm or other firms, and while working with Revit files and other CAD files. This class can be taught in any one or a mix of all the Revit software programs (Architecture, MEP or Structure).
Revit 2012 BIM Management, 2 Days; 8:00Am to 4:00PM (14 Hours)
The objective of the Revit 2012 BIM Management is to enable students who have worked with the Revit software to expand their knowledge in setting up office standards with templates that include annotation styles, preset views, sheets, and schedules, as well as creating custom element types and families. This class can be taught in any one or a mix of all the Revit software programs using practices specific to each discipline (Architecture, MEP or Structure).
Revit 2012 Advanced, 3 Days; 8:00Am to 4:00PM (21 Hours)
The objective of the Revit 2012 Advanced combines the Collaboration Tools and the BIM Management classes into one class. See above for each description. This class is for Revit Architecture, MEP and Structure.
