Objective

As Subcontractors you too have to learn how to operate in the ever changing electronic world.  Electronic files and new document management processes can also benefit subcontractrors.  This workshop will show subs how to maximize usage of electronic files and better understand how to use PDF files to improve efficiency.

Who Should Attend

Subcontractors, General Contractors, estimators, project engineers, project assistants, project managers and other contruction professionals interested in learning how to use electronic information more effectively to increase efficiency and productivity.  PR 101 will help you understand the tools necessary to operate in construction specific electronic workflows.

Prerequisites

It is recommended that the student have a working knowledge of:

• Microsoft® Windows® 2000, XP, or Vista
• Understanding of PDF files
• Experience with construction documents

• Learn how to effectively use the PDM 3.0 web portal to get the information you need

• Learn how to fill out PDM's construction specific contractor prequalification information

• Learn how you can use PDM 3.0 to better communicate with product suppliers to get more and better bids faster

• Learn how to markup and stamp submittal documents using Bluebeam PDF CAD Revu

• Learn how to submit submittals electronically to a PDM 3.0 run project
